Once again, I am not sure exactly what drove me to draw this image. Sometimes I just see something in my mind that I need to release or it will drive me crazy because I can't think of much else until I do.
A lot of pictures I make are about duality. Understanding it and trying to rise above it seems to be a major theme in my life. Over all while looking at this picture I get a feeling of the infinite struggle of various cosmic forces and archetypes. Chaos and creation, masculine and feminine, light and dark....you get the idea.
As far as the Earth being in a glass box, that originally comes from something someone once told me years ago. A guy I knew told me he wasn't sure why but that he felt like a circle inside of a box. This stuck with me and every now and again I try to figure it out. In this image I think I was trying to represent our worlds seeming disconnection from the rest of the universe. It also brings to mind what I have read in UFO lore that the Earth and along with it humanity is in a kind of quarentine. We are cut of from other life forms that might otherwise interfere with our development. Of course it seems there are those who weem to slip through for different reasons.
The figure in white represents the watchers and/or occultic brotherhoods that hold hidden knowledge about our true origins and knowledge about how the cosmos actually function. Well it seems in these times that at any moment that glass box will be shattered and much knowledge revealed. I for one am very excited, hopeful, ready and optimistic. We shall see.
